Cornerstone
Both boys an girls are welcome in our Cornerstone program. While Cornerstone is a program sponsored by Zion Evangelical United Church, all children of the proper age (of any church connection, or none at all) are welcome to attend. While the program is designed for children aged 8 to 11, children may join at 7 1/2.
Children who reach the age of 12 during the program year can be members until the end of the year, or can apply to be Youth Helpers. Youth Helpers are young people aged 12 or older who assist the adult leaders and help to lead the program. They must apply and be accepted to qualify.
To become a member, a child must return a completed membership form signed by a parent or guardian, an pay a membership fee
of $10, which covers the cost of the special Cornerstone T-shirt which all members receive as needed. [NOTE: The second child from the same family is $5, the third child $5. If you cannot easily afford the regular rates, you may pay whatever you can afford]. Any child of the proper age is welcome to attend occasional meetings as a visitor, but if you child attends regularly, we need you to complete and return the registration form.
