Rev. Dr. Daniel Hansen was born in Stratford, Ontario. Rev. Dan is a graduate of Westminster Choir College(Princeton) and Concordia University(Montreal). Since teenage years, Dan has served as a volunteer or paid church musician in various denomination in souther Ontario and eastern United States.
With a Masters degree from Emmanuel College. Dan sought to bring toghterh his musical and theological background in a doctorate at Boston University School of Theology. Sin his ordination and settlement in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Conference in 1997, he has served in Maritime, Bay of Quinte and Ottawa and Montreal conferences. From 2003 - 2006 he was a minister of liturgical music and spiritual care at Trinity-St Andrew's United Church in Renfrew. Recenty, Rev Dan completed a two-year interm ministry with Osgoodekars Pastoral Charge, and over the last while has done pulpit supply in the Ottawa area.
Dan is a firm believer in the Gostpen of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the call of the baptized to sacramental, servant ministry. in particual, he fell that Gosd is drawing disciples in the new spiritual awakening, both as persons of faith and contemporary churches. As a person and leader grounded in the Word of God and openness to divine revelation, Dan believes that God is calling all of us to new life, now.
